TorNetLayer

The [Netlib TorNetLayer] provides access to the [Tor] anonymity network. It follows an overview of features that are planned or not to be implemented in the TorNetLayer in the furture.

Features Planned for Future Releases

• more example application as part of the Demo apps collection
  • e.g. example of dynamic DNS changes while Java application is running, even without Tor
• more server-side support - inclusive adapter support ticket 102
• improved long term stability - especially of Tor hidden services
• better performance - as good as possible with Tor

Features Outside of Scope

• Tor router, Tor directory server: we don't want to implement the Tor server functionality - we concentrate on building tools to access the network infrastructure from client side
