Hi there, what is the easiest way to get a new content type which is just a Silva Folder with additional attributes (1 addidional metadata set)? I would like to have two different folder types: a) the default Silva Folder b) a new Folder type which has one more metadata set than the default Silva Folder has. The default Content Type Metadata Mapping for a Silva Folder is: - silva-content, silva-extra Any idea how to get a new folder type? Should I write a python-based Product for Silva or is there an easier and faster way to do it? Many thanks in advance, Nico |

Hi David, It looks like you need to install the latest version of XMLWidgets-pluggable. You can get it here: http://www.zope.org/Members/aaltepet/XMLWidgets-pluggable The install is simple; just replace the current XMLWidgets directory in your Products directory with this one. Looks like I need to list XMLWidgets-pluggable as a prerequisite to SDP... Hi Clemens You are right, I want to lookup "folderimages" dynamically. > If You want to lookup "folderimages" dynamically, > try something like: > > <dtml-var expr="folderimages.absolute_url()"> might do, > > but I am not experienced to DTML either, so this might just throw any > error at You ... Your solution works: background-image: url(<dtml-var expr="folderimages.absolute_url()">/head_en.jpg); Optionally this notation works to (my preferred way): background-image: url(<dtml-var expr="folderimages" url>/head_en.jpg); The "url" attribute replaces the ".absolute_url()". Because of the dot "head_en.jpg" the following does *not* work: background-image: url(<dtml-var expr="folderimages/head_en.jpg" url>); To put "head_en.jpg" inside the dtml expression (for acquisition purposes) one could use: background-image: url(<dtml-var expr="_.getattr(folderimages, 'head_en.jpg')" url>); Furthermore the "expr=" can be omitted in any of the versions. "globals/frontend.css.dtml" has some code, which looks like: /** * <dtml-let root="get_root_url()" ...omit other stuff... > */ [...] background-image: url(<dtml-var root>/globals/skyfade.gif); [...] I did not really test it, but I hope this works for You either. Assuming "folderimages" is living in the Silva root this should work, I think. If You want to lookup "folderimages" dynamically, try something like: <dtml-var expr="folderimages.absolute_url()"> might do, but I am not experienced to DTML either, so this might just throw any error at You ... Hi there, from a Python Script I would like to return a silva document which contains a Code Source. In the Python Script I set some variables in the request object and now I= =20 would like to return the silva document by calling it and passing the reque= st=20 object to it -- without success because a silva document does not have a __= call__ attribute. my code reads like this: req =3D context.REQUEST req.set('myvar', 'anyvalue') # set some variables to the request object silvadoc =3D getattr(context, 'mysilvadoc') return silvadoc(req)=20 # -> raises an error: Attribute error '__call__' So I tried to return the silvadoc by calling the view() method but unfortun= ately the navigation and layout are not part of it. I just tried: return silvadoc.view() Now, my variables are still in the request, but the layout is missing. Is there a method available similiar to "view()" which returns the silvadoc= including the layout and navigation? Kind regards, Nico Machen Sie aus 14 Cent spielend bis zu 100 Euro!
