Annotation templates (feature request #618780) cannot logically
contain specific timing data for the individual annotations. Instead
the application must choose how to align times with the annotation
anchor (e.g. gloss item), typically by assuming exact time
alignments with start and end points, or some such arbitrary
handling of chained (different start and end values) annotations.
The reasons for this include:
Specific timing is a one-time occurence. Templates are generic.
Data entered using a template will typically have incorrect timing
for some of the entered annotations which must be corrected
manually. In particular some fields may have timing quite distinct
from others -- e.g. hand movement may not coincide with hand
shape.
Storing this data is an extra complexity. Ask Jason for details.
