If you zoom in such that you end up with a horizonital scroll bar and you move it to the right, the play head ends up over the field labels (marking the place in the movies). Attached file: Playhead.pdf

Also, if you get the playhead in the odd place then do Media---Play the one on the far left stays and a new "running one" appears.
