    Hi,
I'm newbie! I want to deploy SignServer with SQL Server 2008, so I can't find any document about configure dabase driver for SQL Server! So I have a question, Does SignServer support SQL Server 2008?
    Thanks!

    Hi Tran,

Microsoft SQL Server is not listed on https://www.signserver.org/doc/current/manual/installguide.html#a1._Check_prerequisites which generally means that it is not officially supported.

When it comes specifically to SQL Server I don't think it has been tested at all with SignServer. If the application server is configured for it, it might still work. In worst case some entity (ORM) mappings would have to be added under modules/SignServer-Entities/src/main/resources/META-INF/.

For configuring the application server I suppose this should be very similar to configure it for any other database manager. The differences would be the name of the JDBC driver file, class and the URL to use.

    Cheers,
    Markus
