When we try to sign a PDF document in version lower than 1.6 already signed
in SHA256, we encounter the following error:
Can not upgrade an already signed PDF and a higher version is required to
support the configured digest algorithm
We are using signserver in version 3.7, is there a reason for this error?
Is it possible to override it? Is the problem fixed in another version of
signserver?
Can you try with the latest version? As 3.7 is very old it is possible this has changed in later versions.
Does the PDF verifies correctly even though the PDF has lower than 1.6 version and a SHA-256 signature?
Cheers,
Markus
