viewshoutbox.php recognizes admin login

Is it possible for you guys to make the
index/viewshoutbox.php recognize an admin login
somehow, or have it integrated with
postnuke/phpnuke/etc to recognize admin login, its a
real hassle having to open admin.php in a new browser
to delete posts. It would be cool if I had a little delete
link by each post.
And if that is possible, would it be possible to have a
badwords setup that if the shoutbox recieved a bad
word, the php would write to the root .htaccess file to
ban the posters IP? its just 1 simple line to do it:
deny from 123.123.123.123
I've been a loyal shoutbox user for ages
(http://jmcivor.com) and your shoutbox is great :)
Thanks for keeping it free!

Patience prevails :) Thx for accepting my suggestions. I've also made a few changes to it myself (screenshot attached). I added a banned users group to pn, then added a link to posters profiles on the left of each shout, and an admin link (only shows for admin, as does the profile links) by the shout button. It has been working fine for now, but if you get official changes made that rectify this, I'll definately update!

Well, some of them anyway. I'm still debating the post/php-nuke integration, but shoutbox could certainly use some facility to make it easier to recognize existing user management solutions. This is actually one of my gripes with 99.9% of web software out there.
Any code you can contribute/offer is welcome. I know the CVS is outdated (and SVN hasn' even been activated, ha), but I was previously planning to update that whenever there was more interest in Shoutbox.
... which never happened, despite a few announcements here and there. Doesn't help that the official site pretty much went "Baaaah".
Anyway... I'm a little swamped in things to do, but I certainly want to push out another shoutbox version. The problem is, I never got any feedback on whether to start a new 3 from scratch or try to continue with the exisitng code... at this rate, I don't have a choice, really.
