To complete my previous message, there are too other lines to add to the config (as described here: http://blog.nicolargo.com/2010/09/installation-et-configuration-de-pnp4nagios-en-mode-bulk.html )

Hello all,

Sorry to make some noise on this list but I wanted to use the forum for my question but impossible to registrer (only the message: An error has occured, after trying to create an account).

I'm testing Shinken to replace my nagios install.I tried to use PNP but I got this message: "perfdata directory "/usr/local/pnp4nagios/var/perfdata/" is empty. Please check your Nagios config"

Just a quick question, do I need to add these lines I added in my other Nagios install?

process_performance_data=1

service_perfdata_file=/usr/local/nagios/var/service-perfdata

service_perfdata_file_template=DATATYPE::SERVICEPERFDATAtTIMET::$TIMET$tHOSTNA

ME::$HOSTNAME$tSERVICEDESC::$SERVICEDESC$tSERVICEPERFDATA::$SERVICEPERFDATA$t

SERVICECHECKCOMMAND::$SERVICECHECKCOMMAND$tHOSTSTATE::$HOSTSTATE$tHOSTSTATETYP

E::$HOSTSTATETYPE$tSERVICESTATE::$SERVICESTATE$tSERVICESTATETYPE::$SERVICESTAT

ETYPE$

service_perfdata_file_mode=a

service_perfdata_file_processing_interval=15

service_perfdata_file_processing_command=process-service-perfdata-file

host_perfdata_file=/usr/local/nagios/var/host-perfdata

host_perfdata_file_template=DATATYPE::HOSTPERFDATAtTIMET::$TIMET$tHOSTNAME::$H

OSTNAME$tHOSTPERFDATA::$HOSTPERFDATA$tHOSTCHECKCOMMAND::$HOSTCHECKCOMMAND$tHO

STSTATE::$HOSTSTATE$tHOSTSTATETYPE::$HOSTSTATETYPE$

host_perfdata_file_mode=a

host_perfdata_file_processing_interval=15

host_perfdata_file_processing_command=process-host-perfdata-file

I'ts not precised in shinken monitoring, so I don't know exactly what to do.
Thank you for your future answer,

Regards,
Gauthier
