installed 0.8.5 yesterday - now 1.0rc1 is running. So far no problems,

For sending performance data via a simple, configurable ascii protocol
we implemented two small modules here,
located at https://bitbucket.org/hlauer/shinken2rrd

Feel free to include them, although they need at least python2.6
(due to the .format() power).

If I understand this module/tool is to export perfdata into a daemon taht will create N rrd files? Is it for a specific use case ? Maybe it's a strange question, but isn't pnp4module export data module good for creating theses rrd files? (maybe it was not flexible enough, I see that you can specify rrd options in the daemon part in fact).

If it's a new case, there is no problem in integrating it in the shinken sources, I can open you the git access :)
