Welcome to Sherpa.

Before you look any further, I should explain the goals behind Sherpa;

Firstly, it is an ongoing learning experience allowing me to explore Javascript, test out new things, progressively integrate modern browser-side development techniques.

Secondly, it is meant to evolve into a web-based programming environment for novices.

I work on this project exclusively on free time so updates are irregular. Sherpa should still reach maturity soon or at least before the internet is replaced by either matrix-like technologies or an elaborate post-apocalyptic network of underground tunnels populated by data-packet-delivering ultra-fast hamsters.

2012-12-23 switched to new repository. Release is operational on a test program. Refactoring going on before to extend it to load any program
