ExQueues Initial Release

ExQueues Shell Queue's Installer has been completed and released. ExQueues is a shell (Windows Explorer) queue application primarily designed for automating PAR2 Repair and RAR file extraction, large file moves and copies, or any other time consuming and resource consuming operations that can be triggered from the Explorer right click context menu, or thru DDE commands. Directory Opus and presumably Total Commander are also supported. In Directory Opus for example, using DDE automation (instructions at http://shellqueue.sourceforge.net ) allows Drag & Drop automation, instead of having to use the context menu.

A specific example of what ExQueues is good at:
Say you have 5 large (4GB+) multipart RAR files along with PAR2 repair files. Typically, you would need to fire up a QuickPar, then wait for it to complete, then fiore up WinRAR, wait for it to extract, and repeat 4 more times, waiting several minutes between each action. If you attempt to start more than one of these at once, you system grinds to a halt because of disk thrashing/contention.

ExQueues allows you in Explorer, to select the 5 PAR2 files, right click and choose 'ExQueues->Repair Then Extact to' and select a predefined destination folder. Each par2 file will be processed one at a time, the RAR's will be discovered by examining the Par2 contents, the RAR's repaired and extracted, and optionally deleted.
