I'm testing your program for some weeks now and I think it's a fine software. Nevertheless "repair" and "repair then ..." doesn't work for me.
Everytime I choose a par2 file and select one of the above options, I'm getting the error "Error: (repair) An error occured when accessing files".
(Seems to be error code 6.)
When I look in the folder I see that par2.exe appended a ".1" to the filename.
Here is the config data for "repair":
Quick question, are you using Newsleecher and processing usenet downloads when you see this error? I have seen a persistnent issue with not being able to repair some files when I have Newsleecher open. I have a customized version of par2.exe trying to figure this one (if it is the same problem) out. QuickPar doesnt seem to have a problem but par2.exe does.
I find that reprocessing (repair then extract again) those files that failed usually works.
It may also be the the unrar.dll is holding those files open... I'll look into it now that someone else is seeing the issue.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Now that you ask, I had Newsleecher open, but it was offline. As I get this error too, when I only choose "repair", I don't think that the unrar.dll is involved.
But then again, I don't know what this dll can do, other then extract files :)
Maybe you're using it for other purposes...
Well, I just closed Newsleecher and tried to repair but got the same error... :(
Thanks for looking into the problem :)
All the best,

Any idea, why it does't work at my side?
Would be very happy if this would work.

This should hopefully be resolved now. I am including a patched version of par2.exe in the installer which fixes file sharing issues.
