ShellNewHandler is an Open-Source Tool to enable/disable ShellNew entries, aka New File context menu entries from Windows Explorer in Vista and Windows 7. Check or uncheck items to enable a desktop right-click context menu item. No need to install.

  • reversed the display state of enabled context menu entries. thanks to ander1122 for suggestion.
  • added an Apply button and renamed the Save button to OK.
  • changed the tooltips for better readability.
  • a click on OK or Apply refreshs the shell immediately.

  • Unsupported, on Win10 it works but I was not able to abilitate "new" for libreoffice files (apparently they are abilitated in the registry but still not present in Win 10 "new" context menù)
