Dude... Highlighting takes regex code to search?
Whoa! This is good, and bad. The good:
- now I can highlight stuff in regex
the bad:
- Now I know why I was never ever ever able to
select "i+1" and say "Highlight" and it always died or
showed the wrong stuff...
I can't believe it took me years of using sheets to realize
that it took regex in these search locations.
Here's a fix that would make this more obvious.
When hitting highlight, have two radio buttons, one
for "plain text search" and "regexp search". The default
should be "plain text search".
Until then, I'll just type "i[+]1" instead of "i+1".
