#36 Project Root Attribute not changeable

Slightly related to bug 755497.

Even though the user can change the project root
attribute from "src/java" to something else, it doesn't
work -- if you change it to "src" for example, the code
for that particular project won't compile -- it'll
export just fine, but won't compile to anywhere (and
won't generate any error messages).

This can cause a whole host of really really hard to
track down problems for the user -- especially if the
user doesn't know about the project root attribute, or
if they don't realize that their code isn't compiling
(I assumed my code was just compiling correctly,
because there were no errors in it).
