About SHARPER

The SHARP Executable Release (SHARPER) project aims to add ease of access and streamlined usability to the SHARP (Simulation-Based High-Efficiency Advanced Reactor Prototyping) software suite. SHARPER provides users a single setup tool to configure and install all of the tools required for running multi-physics simulations of reactor cores.

Currently SHARPER is a collection of Bash scripts to manage the filesystem as well as configure and install the required packages. Bash was chosen due to its stability and its ability to be interpreted natively across many platforms.
