I am a new programmer in python. i found SharpDevelop from a google search. I'm looking for a Python IDE that supports GUI based application building. I was recommended to use version 4.4, after I installed and tried it, it was true that this editor supports python programming.
Then I looked for the latest version (I found 5.1 version), but unfortunately the last version doesn't support python anymore.

I'm also having trouble finding tutorials, books, or guides. a product should be accompanied by a guide (at least discusses from basic to database connection).
I ask SharpDevelop developers to consider user needs so that they can take full advantage of SharpDevelop, because I am a programmer who is just learning.

Discussion for Home page

Does the project support the Core version that can be run on linux.
