SharpDevelop 3.0 Beta 3

1) Release Information

Welcome to the final beta for SharpDevelop 3.0! A lot of bug fixes have been incorporated, a few changes are listed below to give you a high-level overview of what to expect in this beta:

* IronPython 2.0 final included
* F# addin updated for September 2008 CTP
* Updated to WiX 3.0.4714
* Improved support for FxCop 1.36
* Text editor memory and performance improvements
* Code completion performance improvements
* VB.NET formatting strategy partially rewritten
* Full support for project resources in the Windows Forms designer
* Debugger: Watch pad is implemented
* Debugger: Conditional breakpoints
* Improved exception reporting

There is also one important feature change for SharpDevelop 3.0 – the WPF designer has been removed, please see this blog post for details:
