SharpDevelop 2.1 Release Candidate 1

1) Release Information

SharpDevelop 2.1 has entered release candidate testing with RC1 being available today. Most of the work has been focused on bug fixing, details on those changes are available in our bug tracker (a short version is in Start Page / History). If you are using 2.0 today, please consider switching to 2.1 RC1 for your daily work.

The following included software has been updated for RC1: WiX 2.0.4820.0 (setup project support) and NSvn 1.0.0.2727 (Subversion revision control support).

As you will notice, another change has happened: our reporting solution has changed its name from SharpReport to SharpDevelop Reports. The bits of revision 105 are included in RC1, the standalone designer, source code as well as samples can be found here:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=17610&package_id=221059&release_id=485098

If you have been using SDR previously, please note that the namespaces have changed to reflect the product name change. In feature news, check out SDR’s ability to export directly to PDF!

That’s it for the news part, and here come the service announcements:

Please report bugs in our forum:

Known bugs are listed in our publicly accessible bug tracker:
