With a new Control Unit instead of the MySQL Controller, we released Sharecast-Client-0.1.2 and Sharecast-Server-0.1.0. An easy setup without a mysql database is possible for webmainstations now by running the simple control unit.

To avoid controlling by mysql next version, we're working on a very small server via tcp/ip. Sharecast-Client (user-sided) will connect to the main Sharecast-Server (station-sided) and will retrieve an actual IP list of connected relay servers. After retrieving, the client will disconnect.

Still in alpha testing, we released a new version of Sharecast. In this 0.1.1 release it is possible to add a sql connection to build up an own sharing system with ONE fixed static shoutcast server. A documentation will coming soon.

For the testing, downloader can only use and support the testing broadcast from ShareCastRadio, a small stream. To verify the tests, please start sharecast and connect for a while so we can evaluate the logfiles of your connects to see how does it work. Thank you!
