Q: How can I tell if I am behind a firewall?

A: Connect to Gnutella2 in Shareaza. After connected, Go to the Home tab in Shareaza. A warning message will be displayed if you are firewalled over UDP.

A: Connect to networks in Shareaza and go to Help > Connection Test. A webpage will open telling you if you are firewalled.

Q: What port do I need to open in my firewall?

A: Shareaza's default port is 6346 for both TCP and UDP.

A: Go to Tools > Shareaza Settings and select Connection. The port you are using should be displayed. This port is for both TCP and UDP.

Q: How do I open the Shareaza port?

A: Go to Tools > Shareaza Settings and select Connection. Check the Enable UPnP connection devices setup checkbox and hit OK.
