Q: Why can I not play some files in the media player?

A: Download and install the K-Lite Codec Pack (Third Party Site).

A: The file could have digital rights management (DRM) on it, which would prevent you from playing it.

A: You may have downloaded a junk file. Search for a new copy of the file.

Q: How do I share files with other users?

A: Go to Tools > Share Files... and select the folders you wish to share.

A: Go to the Library tab and select Folders. Right-click the files and folders you wish to share and select Shared. A checkbox means the item is shared.

Q: How do I disable partial file sharing?

A: Go to Tools > Shareaza Settings... and select Uploads. Uncheck the Share NEW partial downloads checkbox. You must also not be connected to the eDonkey network.
