I have seen a few promising forks (Envy was the last one I used) but watched them all stall. Lack of users or interest, who knows, but I would suggest that maybe using the shareaza forum for a unified point of release info and feedback may be useful for user awareness. BTW. Have you found a replacement for the LimeWire schemas ?
I opened a specific issue on GitHub: https://github.com/ansani/Shareaza/issues/138.
All releases are built using GitHub Agent (https://github.com/ansani/Shareaza/actions) **I don't build anything manually. ** Anyway, I will add the VT step on GitHub. About the Boost package, I'm using the latest release available on NuGet, so I'm able to build it in every build node of GitHub (or any other CI/CD flow). The source doesn't contains the BOOT package but only a reference for it (if you mean instead the sources zipped in the release section of GitHub then it's normally to find it, as...
Ah, GitHub shoes the "master" branch by default instead of the most recent one. Reports for your GitHub builds from VirusTotal: * iShareaza_2.7.10.5_x64_Release_2023-09-23.exe 5/71 (Kaspersky: Trojan-Spy.Win32.Bobik.pis) * iShareaza_2.7.10.5_Win32_Release_2023-09-23.exe 8/62 (Kaspersky: Trojan-Spy.Win32.Bobik.ptw) I tried to build your repo and got the next artefact: * iShareaza_2.7.10.5_x64_Release_2024-02-09.exe 1/70 I suggest you before publishing continuously rebuild the sources and upload them...
Because the ivan386/Shareaza:master is not the right one. The last and most updated one is ivan386/Shareaza:ipv6, which I forked and updated.
It was my previous company.
ansani/Shareaza This branch is 9160 commits ahead of ivan386/Shareaza:master. How's this possible? 🤔 Why not get an ivan386's master branch?
What gives you that impression kevogod?
Is this your company? https://www.vice.com/en/article/z3vame/government-spyware-firm-that-put-rogue-apps-on-play-store-goes-bankrupt
Hello Salvatore Ansani, Good to know! I have also been a happy user since 2005! Is there a possibility this will become the official? Or is this not what you want? Isn't it better to work on the official version instead of forking a fork from a fork?
Hello Salvatore Ansani, Good to know! I have also been a happy user since 2005! Is there a possibility this will become the official? Or is this not what you want?
Updated the MiniUPnPc component. Now it works! Find the release here: https://github.com/ansani/Shareaza/releases
Hi! the issue was related to a wrong behavior of the MFC component. I fixed it in my last release (https://github.com/ansani/Shareaza/releases).
Hi! I also enabled discussions in the GitHub page: https://github.com/ansani/Shareaza/discussions
I'm working on a new release with some fixes
Great! I'm adding some features in my todo list (as issues). Feel free to add something else if you want.
Just launched, and so far, so good, it is working properly! Will let you know.
Binary packages for 32 and 64 bits are out. Feel free to test and give some feedback!
Glad to read! Not only an up-.to-date x64 build, but with VC 2022 it should be a better performer. Looking forward.
Update: I created a new branch and put that one as default. I managed to build all things in the VS2022. I updated libs to be compatible with the 64bit environment. I only need to solve a C++ issue with a "deleted reference" (error C2280). I think the first 64 bit release is almost around the corner :D
Great. Now following you at https://github.com/ansani/Shareaza
Ok! I just forked the repo in my GitHub account and now I am trying to update the build process using VS2022. I will keep you updated.
Yes, that would be great for starts, at least providing a 2019 version meanwhile some other code updates are performed.
Do you mean forking the repo made by ivan386 and made an x64 build, right?
That would be great Salvatore Ansani . On my side starting with a x64 build of v2.7.10.3-beta.15 would be great.
Hi! I plan to "resurrect" the old client, update library frameworks and add features. Do you have a "wish list"? Surely, I will work on 4K compatibility and some network stuff. What do you think about?
It's not completely abandoned but seems all developers are highly demotivated by constant "pirate" and "porno" risks.
Yes, it seems that ivan386 abandoned his fork too.
The project has largely been abandoned.

Why is this still an issue? I have been waiting years to try and re-join the forum. I'm probably not the only one.
Just found this fork: https://github.com/ivan386/Shareaza Unfortunately no x64 builds yet.
Is the project abandoned?
My Security Tab and my Network Tab do that. I've been searching to find a solution.
Security tab redraws constantly
Same.
I forgot my password on the forums and cannot register.
It would be nice to see some new forums setup. Ideally with all the old threads.
