#3 mark unused elements in the shapes editor

The BitmapBrowser and the FrameBrowser could mark unused items, e.g. by changing the border color or displaying a small icon in a corner. This would be useful to delete unused frames/bitmaps. A "delete unused items" in the Shapes menu could also be implemented.
