Simple Gallery Script / News: Recent posts

School has started again so I cant dedicate as much time to the project as I want to, so things are getting a bit slower.
What have I been doing? I finished the image class and completed the gallery_tree class, so next on my checklist is the creation of the gallery_page class.

Here I am again with another update.
I completed the template class, the template_compiler class and ini_reader class.
In progress is the image class.
To do is the gallery class.

I havent posted some news in quite some time, so I figured I post this small situation update.

I am currently working hard on optimizing the code, and finalizing the template system.
The template system will be quite powerfull if everything goes according to plan, but it still is alot of work.

The next release will be 1.0 and will probably contain following elements:
- mature and powerfull template system
- full featured mod system
- couple of beta mods
- new skins
- a big amount of documentation for developers and webmasters

I am currently working on sgs (simple gallery script), but I am not good in the design of templates/skins. So basically I am looking for people who can help me out here.

The gallery script runs with an easy to use template engine.
All %key% will be replaced with the correct values by the script, so basically you just have to know html.

Short example of a template/skin (used [ and ] for tags):

I just added an update of the orion skin for the sgs 0.6 package.

In 0.6 the template system is modified somewhat to make skinning your gallery even more easy and powerfull.
Included with the zip is a document with detailed information on how to make your own templates/skins.

Sourceforge still is pretty new to me but I managed to set everything up so people can download the project.
I would appreciate it if people send me the url of their homepage so I can see their gallery in action. Those links will be displayed on my page and increase the number of hits of your website.

The script is almost ready for its first release :P
Tomorrow I am going to test the code one more time and zip it up so I can post it here.
The sample gallery will be updated and a simple index page will be put online.
