I'm glad to hear you're interested in sfWiki! Unfortunately, Iain and I are smack in the middle of transferring the old JOS Wiki to sfWiki, which means some of the neat features at http://wiki.jos.org (note: we haven't imported the full set of content yet) hasn't been backported to the sfWiki (CVS) tree. Translation: http://wiki.jos.org is running sfWiki (at jos.sourceforge.net), but the sfWiki you'll be running from CVS won't do everything it does -- or have as many bugs (hopefully!). I wouldn't recommend using the sfWiki from the tarball -- it's out-of-date, waiting for me to finish this move and make an official 'release.' > Currently there's no web page on the quickutil project, so that's a > good place to put the sfwiki, at least to start with. The installation instructions linked to from http://sfwiki.sourceforge.net are out-of-date; only follow them so far as to CVS sfWiki, and then use the CVS instructions, which work for me (when I test them from a clean install.) > Being very weak in Unix, I'm sure I'll be hitting your help list. Hope > you don't mind too much. B-) Not at all! As long as you tell us, the more things you break, the merrier! (Though we hope it's not very merry. For that reason, anyway. :)) -_Quinn |
