I can see this being true (although 10 minutes does seem wrong) because your result set should be over a thousand records. Hence, it should be done once in a long while, or done incrementally (so you only get the full hit once when first doing the import). I would also imagine php may be inefficient at such a large operation... What's the size of the resulting page? -iain |
