Hello, From discussions on the jos lists, one of the most common complaints about the wiki is that people think the information is old. This typically occurs because the introductory pages are almost always relatively static with edits occuring "deep" into the wiki. I was starting to kick around ideas of providing something like some slashdot-ish summaries of new pages on the wiki (page name, summary, and the first x words from the new page). And maybe other quick statistics to show how "active" the wiki is. Sort of like our changes page except in a small box on the home page of the wiki. Any thoughts/comments on a feature like this? -iain |
