There is an amazing wiki that is converting to PHP and MySQL at http:/www.wikipedia.com/ and they have a test site for the PHP/MySQL version at http://php.wikipedia.com
Of course the code and the data is GNU Licenced and available as tarballs.
And as usual they have some bugs that there might already be some solutions for here....
