The first version of the SourceForge utilities project has been released.

SourceForge Utilities is a project that provides programmatic access to some of the administrative applications on the SourceForge website. This initial version provides a simple interface in Java to the File Release System. This means that you can now automate the creation of a SourceForge file release as part of your project's build.

SourceForge Utilities v1.0RC1 is now available. This first release provides code that allows a user to submit a SourceForge file release programmatically.
