After testing by several people, the most recent version - sfc-pre1.0 is considered to be stable. It works also on Windows XP. Development of this project is to be not continued. Of course, you can still submit comments and bug reports.

The first pre-release version is now available. It's very probable, that in a short time it will become the first official release (it's code I cut off from my another project, which seems to be OK). First releases will be for Windows only. Linux ones are planned for the (unspecified) future.
