#695 Windows 11 file association for zip files not working

I am using 7zip version 26.02 (x64) with a Win 11 PC. The file manager works OK but there is no file association between my zip files and 7zip file manager (i.e. when I try to open open a zip file, the 7zip file manager app will not open). I tired to right-click on my zip file and then select "open with" 7ZFM.exe but that also fails (the 7z file manager fails to open). I am able to open 7zipFM.exe but there is no file association with "zip" files on my PC. any help is appreciated.
