Description:
It would be very useful if the Extract dialog included a checkbox that automatically opens the destination folder after the extraction is completed successfully.
This behavior already exists in:
the built-in Windows archive extractor
other competing archiving tools
Currently, 7-Zip requires additional manual steps (opening File Explorer and navigating to the folder), which slows down workflows when extracting archives frequently.
Suggested behavior:
Checkbox: “Open destination folder after extraction”
Default state: disabled (to preserve current behavior)
Optional: remember last state as a user preference
This would be a small UX improvement with high practical value and minimal impact on existing users.
Note:::
Yeah, I'm using ChatGPT :) English is not my main language.
Idea is actually good. Maybe it could also, as an option, open it in second panel, which 7zFM can use, that could be an option too.
Then use translator. There are many.
And the last thing - this image - you don't need to cross it over with red paint, just remove it, paint it white/background colour, but nor red. It looks awful.
