Hi,

There is a listed Winget package for 7zip: https://winget.run/pkg/7zip/7zip, but it is not referenced anywhere on the official website. Is this package official, or at least legitimate?

I’ve searched the web in an attempt to answer my question, but I could not find any answer, even in this forum (although Winget is mentionned here and there). At any rate, if it is indeed verified or approved by the author, it zould be good to link it from the main website.

1) There is no official winget packages for 7-zip.
2) I don't know if the winget.run site can be trusted. So don't trust it.

Official 7-zip installers can be downloaded from these sources:
