I have a user that initially received this error when trying to open a RAR file. I sent them a 7z file to test and learned they receive the error with that as well. I have not been able to find any solution on your forum or via "Google is my friend" so I hope you can provide insight.
That user have installed some incorrect plugins for 7-Zip.
Good morning,
We manage all software in our company (via Intune) and made 7zip as an available app that can be installed via Company Portal. We however did not add any plugins for 7zip as we were not aware that plugins for this software existed. Could you please be more specific? What kind of plug-ins are we talking about?

the folder
C:\Program Files\7-Zip\Formats\
can contain plugins.
Original 7-Zip doesn't install any files to that folder.
So you can check that folder in your computer.
Also install original 7-Zip to some new computer and compare installed files in "C:\Program Files\7-Zip" for your systems and original 7-Zip.
Note that there are non-original 7-Zip programs, that install 7-Zip with plugins.
