i sent financial files to our finance committee members using the compress and email option. None of them could open the zipped up folder with the ending of .7z

Probably you should create .zip ending archives instead, because additional zip software program (for example, 7-Zip) must be used to open .7z ending archives.

Were you able to open the .7z file I forwarded to you? I agree with you.
I will change format to .zip instead of .7z
