#508 Disable auto-update 7-zip

Hi there,
I want to disable automatic updates for 7-Zip. Preferably through changing a Reg-Key in Windows.
Does 7-Zip update automatically? Is there a way to stop this?

No.
7-Zip doesn't connect internet.
The only exception is www.7-zip.org button in About window . That button opens 7-zip web site.

I have also made my concept about auto check updates in 7-zip. Check here.

The concept is literally I made myself which acting like ImgBurn.

If there are other applications are having auto update such as Glary Utilities, make sure turn off the "Check for software updates automatically".
