#465 Ability to edit/copy files inside ext4 archives

Hello is it possible to add in future update the ability to edit/add/copy files in ext4 archives/files ??

so far 7zip can only open them and extract them,if you copy/add files inside you get a warning saying "operation not supported"

The updating is difficult to implement for such complex formats as ext4.

no problem,to let you know there is still problem extracting symbolic links from ext4 archives with the latest beta version.it takes them as zero files even if they have a size in a few kb

Symbolic link creation requires administrator rights in Windows.
