Hi Team,
We are unable to extract files from certain Zip folder as of now we are able to extract 22 files but still 163 files need to be extracted. Whenever we are trying to Unzip getting an error as Unexpected end of data and Data error. Please help us to fix this issue as soon as possible.
Please let us know if you want me to send the zipfile.
Please find the below screenshot of the error we are getting.

Hi,
Can anyone help me with this?
How big is the file?
It is 242 MB (254 017 536 bytes) but when unzipping we can see 246 MB (258 141 100 bytes) but still 163 files need to be extracted .We are getting two errors Unexpected end of data and data error is this is the reason we are unable to see those 163 files?
If your archive was truncated to 242 MiB, then 7-zip has no any chance to extract data after the end of available data.
Think about reasons of truncations and what was correct size of original zip archive before truncation.
Could you please tell us what happens when both unexpected end of data and data error occurs at a time, could you please mention why we get these errors. Is it possible to recover the data in this case.
Please mention the causes for this issue.
let's suppose you have 100 files, and each file is 10 MB compressed.
Then you have total 1 GB archive.
let's suppose you have truncated 1 GB archive to 215 MB.
then you have:
1) correct 21 files: #1 - #21,
2) incorrect file #22 (only 5 MB from 10 MB)
3) no data for files #23 - #100.
When 7-zip opens such zip archive, 7-zip sees that archive was truncated and 7-zip reports about it - " Unexpected end of data".
Also 7-Zip sees that data for file 22 is incorrect, and it reports about "data error" in that file.
And 7-Zip doesn't see files 23-100 at all. So 7-Zip can't report about them.
No way to recover that zip, if your case is such case as I described.
Think about all steps that were used to create/store/transfer
that zip archive. And think what stage it was truncated.
Why do you think that there were additional 163 files?
Why such exact number - 163?
Think what was original size of zip archive before corruption/truncation.
Do you have another copy of these files?
