Thank you for the many years of 7z - it is a true corner of the internet and my go to recommendation for years!
I was wondering if there was any way to display or enforce a policy for minimum password length? The company I am a Windows admin in have a enterprise policy of 'minimum 16 pseudorandom characters' which is hard to remind folks to follow (let alone enforce the length at a minimum).
I'm not sure how I would suggest to impliment - if a ini/registry entry could be placed as a free text label under the password field "CompanyX suggests all documents with PII be encrypted with 16 character pseudorandom passphrase from the XXX password server generator". I don't think you would be keen going down the track of actual integer field length minimum and 'enforced policies' would be a good idea at all.
Thanks for your consideration - and again love your work and how it has improved our world
Password policy will be a competitive advantage in organizations
