#267 Installer not removing old registry keys

When installing 18.05 x64 via msi, the installation left behind reg keys from 16.04. This leads to vulnerability scans reporting that 16.04 is still installed (a false positive since the executable has indeed been updated to 18.05). Is there a plan for future releases to remove reg keys from older versions? How can that be addressed?

This involves multiple target OSes from Win7/Server 2008 R2 through Win10/Server 2016.
