As [url=https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2878965&group_id=14481&atid=364481]requested[/url] back in 2009 by Neil Moore, 7-zip currently does not support the UDF 2.5 and higher formats for ISO images. This means it cannot open Blu-Ray ISO files. I would like to be able to extract these images, so if possible could you please add support for these formats?

Oops, I see the url tag isn't working as expected, but I can't seem to edit it anymore.
I would also like to have this feature implemented. The reason is that with many media players who play BD ISOs, there is an issue with seamless branching. This means that the movie can be split into several m2ts files and transition from one to the other, due to Sony's policy, is resulting to a small gap in audio. In most a/v forums, people recommend to explore the ISO and see if the movie is split into several m2ts files. Unfortunately, it is not possible to explore BD ISOs with 7zip and currently the need for that is increasing day after day. It is a very important feature.
Thanks and keep up the good work.
I also think that this would be very useful functionality. I keep all my BluRay backups as .iso and when occasionally I need to work with some of them I need to:
With all DVD images I simply use 7-Zip - just open .iso directly on the network backup and un-archive it on my hard drive from there.
