In most file managers I can copy and paste files from one folder to another. The operation is very similar to drag and drop. Instead of selecting and dragging, I select and hit copy. Then, I navigate to the folder the files I just copied need to go. I then hit paste. I find this feature extremely useful.

7-Zip File Manager does support drag and drop. I can drag files between two 7-Zip File Manager windows or between 7-Zip File Manager and windows explorer, and vice versa. This is great.

To my dismay, however, I cannot copy and paste. Is it possible to add this feature? (and just make it behave like drag and drop)

This feature would be great for me, too.

Currently for example WinRAR supports this.
Ctrl+C selected file(s), then in the RDP connection ctrl+v and the files will be extracted and copied there.

Would be great, to see this feature in 7zip, too!

Implementing this idea would make using the program even easier! The user experience would be even more enjoyable.

Please implement this feature. So many Windows users are used to CTRL+C and CTRL+V for copying and pasting documents and this would make the UX so much more intuative and seamless.

I agree. I would really appreciate this feature too. It has been a long time coming :-)
