moving files in archive
A free file archiver for extremely high compression

As I see it, a moving file option would be very useful and rather easy to implement. Correct me if I am wrong.
So, quite a few months back you said it is not on your plannend feature list. Is it now?
In the GUI there is already a move button, so you could just extend the move dialog with an "move in archive"-part.
But what I would highly appreciate would be a commandline option for moving files in an archive.

I second this request. Something like "7z -M" where the source files are deleted after
successful compression (if compression fails, source files are not deleted).

@Mike:
My request was about moving files inside an archive and not moving files into an archive. So changing the file's path inside an archive is, what I would like to achieve.

Is there any chance to get this? I would really like to have a GUI of doind this without having to rename files just to move them up or down directories.
it really is a pain the current way this is!
I didn't notice this is an 11 years old feature request.
Is there any news on this front?
At least an update or something...
ping? :(
