7z is my most frequently used compression manager now.
I am happy with it in general, except a few small problems.

One of these is that I have no control on how folder
history items are stored. The history items seem to
grow for ever - unless I manually delete them.

It would be nice if I could limit the number of history
items (or completely disable it at all).

And it seems there are two places to keep folder history:

1.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\7-Zip\Extraction\PathHistory
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\7-Zip\FM\FolderHistory

And I am quite confused at how these two differ...

Just found another history Registry item -
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\7-Zip\FM\CopyHistory. It's
actually extraction history that is created when I open a
zip file and extract files. It's strange that 7z uses a
different Registry key for extraction folder when invoked
    from Windows Shell context menu.
