A bit of congratulations first:
I tried version 3.13 and since love your program.
It's fast and light, handles most archive & compression
formats (including those coming from Unix), and has a
GUI entirely usable from keyboard. Plus it has few
settings, but they are the good ones, so after I install it
somewhere I don't loose 1/2 hour checking settings.

Then the feature request:
Currently, I have to proceed in two steps to build or
extract .tar.gz and .tar.bz2 archives. It would be a lot
more convenient if those archive types could be handled
in one step.
NB: Being able to handle .tar, .gz and .bz2 separately
should *not* be removed, it's useful at times to build
uncompressed tar archives or compress single files.

I totally agree with the submitter, the direct compressed tar handling should be enabled by default.
