Hi Igor,
The 7-Zip software has long used the ZipCrypto encryption algorithm in the zip format by default for compatibility issues, rather than the more secure AES-256.
However, at this time, most popular archive software should support decompression of zip archives using the AES-256 encryption algorithm.
Even Microsoft is planning to use libarchive for archive files in Windows, so I wonder if we no longer think there are still compatibility issues?
