With the availability of powerful GPUs increasing in desktop Windows machines, it would be very handy if 7-Zip could use these sources of raw power for compression and, possibly, encryption. This would make working with large files much quicker.

    I think this should be changed to OpenCL, why only support nVidia's closed language?

    I am too for OpenCL support first, cuda can wait...
    I have in all desktop PCs ATI VGAs, only my one laptop have nvidia gpu.
