Question. I have installed 7zip and downloaded the 7za binary. What do I do next to enable use of 7zip in a command line and a batch file?
Recommendations.which would have saved many hours of my wasted time.
Provide a self installing version of 7za, and/or extend the 7za ReadMe to explain how it should be installed or added to 7Zip.
Enable 7zip [and 7za?] to recognise the basic command line entry
Command ..>7zip .. or ..>7zip /? or :>7za /?
Responses.
..:> 7zip command line options are as follows: ..........
or
..:> To support command line options, please install the addon 7za.exe
My searches in 7zip help, and i n Google got mostly obsolete threads or comments which were confusing or of no help
Thanks again,
Graeme.

7za.exe can work standalone.
Or you can use 7z.exe with 7z.dll instead, if you need support for all formats.
