How do I set 7-Zip File Manager's default compression to always to the max(imum)?

    Hello.

    I know command line can do different level of compressions, but where is it in its GUI? I want to always use the max(imum) compression especially in Windows' Explorer's right clicks.

    What happens for you when you set the Compress level: (in the Add to Archive dialog) ?

    For me, when I restart 7-Zip, the last used compression level is preselected.
    So if I set it to Maximum, & never change it to anything else, it should always be Maximum.

    Looks the setting is stored here:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\7-Zip\Compression\Options\7z\Level

    Is this not what you're seeing?
